A Town of Red Brick..era una città di mattoni rossi, o di mattoni che sarebbero stati rossi se il fumo e la cenere l’avessero permesso, ma per come stavano le cose, era una città di rosso e nero innaturale come la faccia dipinta di un selvaggio…così scriveva Dickens nell’opera Hard Times, e proprio questa definizione mi è venuta in mente scattando queste foto, seppure con una connotazione positiva..in questi scatti la città si scompone in tanti piccoli pezzi, come mattoncini riassemblati di uno stesso puzzle..da questa città l’ispirazione mascolina di questo look, e il suo essere vagamente retrò, vagamente jazz..e mattone su mattone si compone un altra storia, un altro giorno, un altra me..
It was a town of red brick, or of brick That would have been red if the smoke and ashes had allowed it, but as matters stood, it was a town of unnatural red and black like the painted face of a savage...Dickens in his work Hard Times described a strange city,dominated by the progress , and it is this definition came to mind taking these photos, albeit with a positive connotation in these shots .. the city is split into many small pieces, reassembled as bricks of the same puzzle .. from this city the inspiration of this masculine look, and her being vaguely retro, vaguely jazz .. and brick by brick is composed another story, another day, another me ..
